Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead quality-centric activities from concept to full rate production within Xometry and its partner network
• Reduce supplier nonconformities by leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve customer satisfaction
• Manage internal, customer, and certification audits along with the Quality Management System (QMS) library
• Manage internal corrective actions and the Material Review Board (MRB)
• Aid in completing customer surveys to ensure continued growth
• Work cross-functionally with DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams
• Act as an onsite quality expert to ensure quick turnaround times and effective communication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a quality role
• 2+ years of experience in a customer or supplier-facing role
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ
• Full understanding of GD&T and tooling
• Mechanical and manufacturing processing knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Experience with ISO 9001 and conducting internal audits
• Experience with big data development and trend analysis
• Ability to travel 5%-10%

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ Certification
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Looker, and Salesforce
• Knowledge of Process Certification and Process Robustness
• Auditing certifications for AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949
