About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead quality-centric activities from concept to full rate production within Xometry and its partner network
- Reduce supplier nonconformities by leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve customer satisfaction
- Manage internal, customer, and certification audits along with the Quality Management System (QMS) library
- Manage internal corrective actions and the Material Review Board (MRB)
- Aid in completing customer surveys to ensure continued growth
- Work cross-functionally with DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams
- Act as an onsite quality expert to ensure quick turnaround times and effective communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a quality role
- 2+ years of experience in a customer or supplier-facing role
- Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ
- Full understanding of GD&T and tooling
- Mechanical and manufacturing processing knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience with ISO 9001 and conducting internal audits
- Experience with big data development and trend analysis
- Ability to travel 5%-10%
Preferred Qualifications
- ASQ Certification
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Looker, and Salesforce
- Knowledge of Process Certification and Process Robustness
- Auditing certifications for AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949
