Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide test plans and software automation engineering expertise for hardware, software, and virtual systems
• Design, develop, and integrate test and evaluation techniques into automation frameworks
• Identify poor-performing software/hardware, implement fixes, log defects, and test scalability
• Create, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using standard methodologies
• Develop comprehensive documentation for automation processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to upgrade to polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical/scientific discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in the Linux command-line environment
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Experience with network configuration and CI/CD principles (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab)
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, Xen, OpenStack, or VirtualBox
• Familiarity with formal testing procedures including RVTM, FAT, and acceptance testing
