Quality Assurance Engineer Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Engineering & Compliance (QEC) function, including oversight of QA personnel and workload prioritization.
• Establish and sustain a scalable Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with cloud-based, DevSecOps-driven service delivery.
• Drive program-level quality governance to ensure alignment with PWS requirements, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Develop and execute a risk-based Internal Audit Program ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, CMMI, and other frameworks.
• Monitor SLA and KPI performance, identify systemic risks, and lead corrective actions (CAPA) to improve delivery outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering, DevSecOps, and Cybersecurity teams to embed quality controls within automated pipelines.
• Provide data-driven insights and quality performance analysis to Program Managers and Government stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 or CMMI.
• Experience with audit execution, CAPA management, and SLA/KPI performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing or government-interfacing roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI-DEV standards.
• Current industry certifications such as ISO 20000 or ITIL.
• Familiarity with DoD and Government IT/security policies.
• Experience developing strategic quality approaches for requirements verification.
