Quality Assurance Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise quality control field inspections and quality assurance audits for construction processes and documentation
• Follow the Quality Plan and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Document, report, and follow through on results of field inspections and audits
• Identify discrepancies and trends in Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and Preventive Action Requests (PAR)
• Assist with root cause analysis and ensure timely responses to CAR/PAR
• Provide support for activities required for ISO certification and OSHA evaluations
• Review procedures, designs, contracts, and specific customer requirements for quality compliance

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Two years of experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance field activities (operations, maintenance, construction, or procurement)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of interpreting quality requirements within ISO, OSHA, and industry standards
• Strong oral and written communication skills with effective conflict resolution abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Quality-related certifications (e.g., ASQ, ISO auditor, AWS, or ASNT)
• Higher education in a relevant field
• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector, Quality Assurance Auditor, or Quality Specialist within the last five years
