Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test strategies aligned with product goals and technical architecture
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to embed quality throughout the lifecycle
• Define and drive key quality metrics and triage defect patterns using dashboards and reports
• Establish standards for test planning, execution, and documentation while mentoring QA engineers
• Build tooling and infrastructure to support continuous integration and scalable test coverage
• Identify future testing needs across cloud, edge, and device interfaces to shape the QA roadmap

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in software quality engineering
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing for customer-facing applications
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Python, or similar)
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, metrics, and test architecture design
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing AI-powered or edge-connected applications
• Familiarity with backend service testing, distributed systems, and API validation
• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Strong communication skills focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
