Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop quality assurance data packages to support design and manufacturing
• Participate in internal and external audits, surveillances, and inspections
• Assist in translating customer or regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions
• Provide technical support to inspectors and operators
• Perform analysis of production data to create reports and identify trends
• Participate in root cause analysis to implement corrective actions
• Identify potential project or supplier quality issues
• Review, evaluate, and respond to customer and supplier correspondence

Requirements

• BS Engineering or a related technical degree
• US citizenship is required due to DoD requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Auditing experience
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certifications
• Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (ASME Y14.5)
