About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assure compliance with the Quality Management System, customer purchase orders, specifications, and industry standards
  • Prepare and provide product quality assurance documentation required by customer programs
  • Review and approve Quality Verification Documents
  • Evaluate nonconformances and develop/implement corrective actions as needed
  • Perform vendor source inspections and support customer and vendor audits
  • Conduct inspections on safety-related components and systems
  • Create and follow detailed work instructions to ensure precision and reliability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 2-4 years of related experience in quality assurance or a similar engineering role
  • Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 (Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications)
  • Familiarity with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B (Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ASME Section III (Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components)
  • Experience working within highly regulated nuclear or industrial environments
