Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, identifying and documenting bugs thoroughly
• Build and execute automation scripts using approved toolsets
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify system requirements
• Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
• Analyze causes of non-conforming software and implement solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in .NET technology and application testing
• Proficiency with Selenium with .NET, SOAPUI, Postman, and JMETER
• Experience testing .NET Web and Windows applications hosted in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AI development toolkits such as Claude or Co-Pilot
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and various test design patterns
• Experience working within an Agile delivery environment
• Excellent problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks
• Experience or knowledge regarding the travel industry and related technologies
