Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as an Agile QA, participating in team ceremonies such as refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure delivery quality from the requirements-gathering phase using a shift-left approach
• Create, execute, and maintain automated API tests
• Support the team in defining clear and testable acceptance criteria
• Execute functional, exploratory, and regression tests
• Log, track, and manage bugs in a clear, objective, and prioritized manner using tools like Jira and Zephyr
• Work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve quality processes

Requirements

• Experience with automated API testing using Java
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks, specifically Gherkin and Cucumber
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals
• Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban)
• Proficiency in bug management and tools such as Jira or Zephyr
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential quality risks

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Experience with E2E testing or frontend automation
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and test execution within pipelines
• Familiarity with non-functional testing, such as performance or security
• Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting in distributed or mobile environments
