Quality Assurance Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Quality Assurance activities and manage the Department Level 2/3 Business Plan Deployment Board
• Facilitate, coach, and teach GM-GMS requirements, including BIQ MEP, Process Control Plans (PCP), and T&E
• Manage the overall Global Customer Audit process, including people, processes, and data
• Monitor plant processes to ensure compliance with export regulations and lead CoP requirements
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact for Global Read Across and Safety Tethers
• Act as the Plant Internal Calibrator for BIQ and facilitate the GMS BIQ Basketweave
• Host corporate audits, including BIQ, GCA, Op Ex Reviews, and GMAS
• Support torque, weld, and process audits with Corporate Auditors and external ISO audits
• Lead new quality initiatives rolled out by headquarters, such as E-QFC

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong GMS knowledge and experience with BIQ (Built In Quality)
• Understanding of Global Customer Audit standards and Global Quality Manual requirements
• Understanding of Process Control Plans (PCP) and Tools and Equipment Bulletin (TEB) processes
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead without authority and demonstrate managerial courage

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Quality experience within Casting and Machining environments
• Strong GMS knowledge of other principles including PI, SLT, STD, and CI
