Quality Assurance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform QA data audits to ensure laboratory compliance with policies and procedures
• Assist the QA Manager with internal and external audits and client visits
• Maintain reference data in LIMS and manage laboratory technical records
• Issue controlled and uncontrolled documents to enforce current SOPs
• Assist in scheduling proficiency testing and QC samples
• Maintain employee training records and laboratory certification lists
• Support operations personnel in writing QA SOPs and generating MDL calculations
• Maintain historical indices of technical records, including SOPs and QC records

Requirements

• Some college chemistry coursework, including laboratory experience
• 1+ years of bench chemistry or laboratory project management experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of chemistry laboratory terms, work, and measurement
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science field
• 1 year of dedicated Quality Assurance experience
