About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement outgoing quality control plans for mass production and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Establish, review, and improve outgoing inspection standards and procedures, including conducting training for inspectors and operators.
- Monitor quality performance dashboards and key KPIs to identify adverse trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate inspection equipment, gauges, and testing tools to ensure accuracy and recommend necessary upgrades or calibrations.
- Analyze field claims, in-house defects, and rework trends to redesign and strengthen inspection processes.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) activities for quality issues and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage costs related to internal and external failures, appraisal, and prevention.
- Perform internal audits for manufacturing teams, in-house parts, and assembly lines to achieve quality KPIs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address chemical and material quality issues and optimize rework procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proven coursework or work experience in the following areas:
- Organic Polymer Material and Practice
- Chemical Reaction and Process Engineering
- Chemistry Analytical Design
- Heat Material Delivery and Practice
- Environmental Engineering
- Organic Chemistry and Practice
- Energy Material Analysis and Lab
- Thermodynamics and Energy
