Quality Assurance Analyst (Automation)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation test approaches and scripts using tools like Selenium
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and reduce time-to-market
• Conduct exploratory, system, regression, migration, and API testing
• Collaborate with development teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Triage, prioritize, and report defects, acting as an advocate for the customer experience
• Automate processes within mainframe applications to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Participate in product design and requirements analysis to provide QA insights and accurate work estimations

Requirements

• University or College Degree in IT or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of QA lead experience
• 4+ years of automation experience using VB script or Java (Selenium)
• 3+ years of experience with API automation
• Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience in the Canadian financial services industry is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Playwright test framework
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot
