Quality Assurance Analyst (Automation)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation test approaches and scripts using Selenium and other tools
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and reduce time-to-market
• Conduct exploratory, system, regression, migration, and API testing
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to align test cases with user stories
• Triage and prioritize defects, writing clear and concise reports for remediation
• Automate processes within mainframe applications to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Participate in product design and requirements analysis to provide continuous QA feedback throughout the SDLC

Requirements

• University or College Degree in IT or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a QA Lead capacity
• 4+ years of automation experience using VB script or Java (Selenium)
• 3+ years of experience with API automation
• Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience in the Canadian financial services industry is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Playwright test framework
• Proficiency using GitHub Copilot
