About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into non-conformances and verify corrective actions
- Support and coach employees in conducting thorough investigations
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs) and HACCP studies
- Partner with departmental managers to ensure food safety programmes are effectively applied
- Provide technical guidance and quality systems expertise across the Q&FSMS
- Conduct risk assessments relating to quality and food safety systems
- Undertake internal audits and support verification planning activities
Requirements
- At least 2 years' quality assurance experience within dairy or food manufacturing
- Tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and Word
