Quality and Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control on raw materials and formulated materials through physical characterization tests (e.g., mortar fresh state, blue value, granulometry, mechanical resistance).
• Manage laboratory documentation, including data entry and database updates.
• Oversee laboratory consumables and maintain characterization equipment.
• Pilot production cycles via computer supervision software, ensuring precise component dosage.
• Coordinate the flow of tanker trucks for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Monitor mechanical equipment (screws, filters, mixers, silos) and perform regular maintenance and daily cleaning.
• Diagnose simple breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Manage stock levels in silos and place orders for raw materials to prevent production interruptions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a concrete plant or an automated industrial environment.
• Strong proficiency in digital tools, specifically Excel and ERP systems.
• Rigorous approach to following standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose defects and solve problems.
• Strong communication skills to enforce hygiene and safety rules on the production floor.
