Quality and Metrology Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploy the Quality and Metrology Policy within SGS France Division Connectivity & Products
• Manage laboratory quality indicators and ensure metrological control of equipment
• Ensure compliance with NF EN ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and other quality standards (COFRAC, IECEE)
• Organize audits and manage follow-up action plans for client, internal, and regulatory audits
• Define calibration programs and develop new calibration methods including uncertainty calculations
• Maintain and rationalize the measurement equipment inventory and manage the budget
• Implement the Quality Management System (QMS) and manage non-conformities and customer complaints
• Train and raise awareness among staff regarding quality and metrology issues
• Lead management reviews and participate in continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• Solid experience in managing a quality system
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 standards
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality-safety management or metrology
• Master's degree (Engineering School) or Bachelor's degree with specialization in Quality
• Proficiency in analysis and improvement tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Mandatory fluency in English
