Quality and Governance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the development of quality and governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits and performance assessments to drive continuous improvement
• Analyze data and trends to identify non-compliance issues or potential risks and execute mitigation plans
• Ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation standards including JCI and CBAHI
• Support KAUST HR and Graduate Affairs with medical fit for relocation applications
• Collaborate with the Occupational Health Specialist on occupational health matters
• Participate in patient safety programs, safety walks, and safety culture surveys
• Support quality KPI audit and validation
• Provide guidance on investigations and root cause analysis using quality methodologies
• Monitor the Occurrence Variance Report process and recommend medical equipment improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related medical specialty
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, governance, or a related function
• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in healthcare quality and governance, preferably in Saudi Arabia
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and CBAHI
• Proven experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
