Quality Analyst QC

Responsibilities

• Analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
• Perform physicochemical analysis on powders, liquids, emulsions, and dried products
• Execute analytical testing using Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
• Investigate quality deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) results, including root cause analysis
• Make technical decisions regarding the disposition of non-conforming materials
• Participate in sensory panels for flavor evaluation
• Monitor and track quality performance indicators such as Right First Time (RFT) and On Time Performance (OTP)
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the food or chemical industry
• Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and GC-MS
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools
• Intermediate English proficiency

• Experience specifically within the flavors or food ingredients industry
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Experience participating in sensory evaluation panels
