About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and approve manufacturing and packaging documents, including physical copies and electronic batch records (eBR).
- Ensure all relevant information is gathered, assessed, and approved before product disposition.
- Assign QA statuses (Release/Reject/Quarantine/Impound) to work-in-process and finished products.
- Identify improvements, new procedures, or compliance gaps based on applicable regulations.
- Investigate and resolve routine issues arising during work assignments.
- Coordinate all necessary paperwork required for batch release.
Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in a Science-related field (preferred) or relevant GMP Quality experience.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a heavily regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
- Thorough understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Ability to perform basic statistical analyses and comprehend AQL sampling plans.
- Proficiency in Veeva, eBR, MS Office, and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to stand, walk throughout the facility, and lift up to 25 pounds.
