About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive social work service within Stockton Borough’s First Contact team
- Support adults and carers with a focus on Adult Safeguarding and front-door decision-making
- Assess safeguarding alerts and refer cases for further investigation in a fast-paced environment
- Assist in managing referral waiting lists and prioritizing cases based on risk
- Collaborate with the Deputy Team Manager, Team Manager, and Adult Safeguarding Team
Requirements
- SWE registration
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Post-qualified experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driver's license
