About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological environmental sampling in aseptic and classified processing areas to support pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Conduct aseptic observations in production settings to provide real-time feedback and ensure compliance with GxP requirements.
- Assist in microbiology laboratory operations, including sample incubation, reading results, and data entry into electronic databases.
- Interpret and evaluate data for accuracy, precision, and potential impact on Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Maintain equipment, lab supplies, and records in compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
- Adhere to strict gowning procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in production areas.
- Recognize and report atypical data or deviations from standard procedures to supervisors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience working within a GMP environment.
- Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency in data entry.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and strictly follow complex technical procedures.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work a third-shift schedule (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Physical capability to maintain aseptic gowning, perform fine manual manipulations, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Control (QC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity.
