QMS Internal Auditor/Specialist, Quality

Responsibilities

• Perform BMS audits based on AS9100, ISO9001, customer, and internal requirements
• Plan, communicate, and clarify the purpose and scope of audits to department representatives
• Collect and analyze evidence to ensure processes meet Business Management System (BMS) requirements
• Monitor and track corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution of compliance discrepancies
• Analyze quality performance and collaborate with program teams to develop improvement plans
• Act as a site focal for AS9100/ISO9001 compliance and a resource for internal command media

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR Graduate Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 4 years of experience in Internal Auditing
• 4 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing role leading root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
• ASQ Lead Auditor Certification
• Knowledge of quality management systems based on current AS9100/ISO 9001 standards
• Experience participating in or leading Layered Process Audits (LPAs)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills
