About the role
Responsibilities
- Verify vendor adherence to QC Manuals through procedures and practices
- Note all non-conformances and communicate them to vendors for NCR and CAR issuance
- Follow up on NCRs and corrective actions
- Review customer complaints, NDE certifications, and training records
- Conduct pre and post audit meetings
- Review and verify vendor safety programs and manufacturing processes
- Evaluate implementation of written shop procedures per the QCM
- Monitor welding processes, including WPS/PQR evaluation and welder qualifications
- Perform visual inspections of welds and final products
- Review coating procedures, inspections, and measurement tools
- Verify material traceability and review final data books
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of auditing experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experience with fixed and rotary equipment inspection (pumps, valves, compressors, etc.)
- Experience with manufacturing shop QMS audits, NCR/CAR reviews, and NDE certifications
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and industry coating standards
- Ability to work on an ad hoc, contract basis
Preferred Qualifications
- IRCA certification or equivalent
