About the role

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments per healthcare provider orders
  • Supervise residents who self-administer medication per regulatory guidelines
  • Report changes in residents' physical condition and behaviors
  • Maintain records for medication distribution, activities, incidents, and observations
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living
  • Follow the schedule of resident needs set by the supervisor

Requirements

  • QMAP Certificate
  • Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly and assist residents physically
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
  • Experience with memory impairment care may be required for memory care assignments
