QMAP

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care including assistance with bathing, dressing, meals, and laundry
• Manage medication administration in accordance with state law and established protocols
• Monitor resident safety and well-being, reporting any changes in health or behavior to supervisors
• Anticipate resident needs regarding hygiene, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and any treatment concerns
• Restock medication carts and storage areas with necessary supplies
• Communicate effectively with RNs, LPNs, and peers to ensure high-quality resident care

Requirements

• Valid medication certification (QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, or Nurse Delegation)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to handle moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and constant standing/walking
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in elder care
• Proficiency with computers
