About the role
Responsibilities
- Foster positive relationships with project partners and inform stakeholders of project progress
- Support research initiatives by conducting systematic literature reviews and analyzing results
- Prepare draft statistical reports, research summaries, and formatted data for presentations
- Implement and execute qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
- Coordinate research project logistics, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and meeting schedules
- Assist with Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions and maintain accurate project records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Epidemiology, or a related field
- Minimum two years of research and project support experience in an academic or healthcare environment
- Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Experience conducting systematic literature reviews and coordinating REB submissions
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of statistical software (Stata, SPSS, R) or qualitative software (NVivo)
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Experience coordinating funding application processes
- Experience with survey design tools such as Qualtrics or Ocean
