QHSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy the site's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) strategy in alignment with Group ambitions.
• Manage and develop a QHSE team of 5 to 6 people, fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory, normative, and customer compliance, including the maintenance and development of certifications.
• Implement and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and lead internal and external audits.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean methodologies and support field-based continuous improvement (Gemba).
• Monitor QHSE KPIs and provide regular reporting to the Site General Manager and Executive Committee.
• Manage non-conformities, analyze failures, and lead problem-solving groups.
• Oversee health and safety prevention, including legal compliance and the implementation of "zero accident" initiatives.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent specialization in QHSE.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role within a demanding industrial sector (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing).
• Full fluency in English is mandatory for working with international groups and clients.
• Strong expertise in continuous improvement and problem-solving tools: 8D, PDCA, Lean, AMDEC, and SPC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of maritime or nuclear industry standards and requirements.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
