QHSE Expert

Responsibilities

• Act as the Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) according to §6 ASiG
• Advise management on all matters regarding occupational, environmental, and health protection
• Conduct safety inspections of plants, processes, and work equipment
• Coordinate and further develop integrated management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 50001)
• Plan and perform audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments
• Analyze accidents and derive preventive measures
• Organize training and instructions in the areas of occupational safety and environment
• Create reports, KPIs, and management system documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders such as authorities and professional associations
• Participate in cross-departmental projects within the Beckers Group

Requirements

• Completed degree in Chemistry, Safety Engineering, Quality Management, or similar
• Qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist and as an ISO 9001 / 45001 Auditor
• Several years of experience in occupational safety, environmental protection, and management systems
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., hazardous substances, explosion protection, environmental and occupational safety)
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Structured and independent working style with strong communication skills
