QC Tester

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily line audits and pull in-process, finished product, sugar truck, water, and micro samples
• Follow quality guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Test and inspect various stages of the production process
• Assist in the remediation of deviations and variance explanations
• Record test data and apply statistical quality control procedures
• Operate testing instruments including CIP, UPLC, and water testing equipment
• Oversee equipment calibration and conduct sensory testing (taste, odor, appearance)
• Participate in technical reviews to ensure GMP compliance
• Recommend modifications to quality or production standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a regulated industry (food or dietary supplement preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in line auditing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of general statistics for manufacturing operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related technical field
• HACCP certification
• FSMA certification
• Experience in an FDA regulated industry within a quality or regulatory department
