QC Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring connection inspections and verify continuity per wiring diagrams
• Conduct electrical-related inspections and document results for warranty records
• Prepare equipment for hipot, functional, and voltage testing following SOPs
• Perform functional testing on PLCs and control modules
• Create nonconformance reports and initiate failure analysis
• Review engineering drawings to verify equipment can be built to specification
• Conduct final inspections and apply UL labels
• Travel to customer sites to participate in investigations of equipment failures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing or testing
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
• Proficiency with PLCs and control modules
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate coursework or Associate's Degree in Engineering
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Quality Management software
• Experience with warranty evaluation and engineering drawing review
