QC Technologist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify calibrators, controls, internal standards, and annual verification samples
• Perform first review and data entry of chromatographic data from annual verifications and QC (LC/GC/Screening)
• Update and review QC within the BioRad Unity Program
• Ensure full compliance with current SOPs, SAMHSA, and CAP-FDT regulatory guidelines
• Maintain documentation for validation assessments and written communication with the Responsible Person
• Adhere to all security procedures to protect the confidentiality of donor and proprietary method information

Requirements

• BS in a science field or 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience
• Experience in extraction and first review
• Experience processing data associated with GC/MS and LC-MS/MS (using MultiQuant)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of analytical techniques, laboratory instrumentation, and GC/MS and LC-MS/MS data review
• Knowledge of R&D requirements for SAMHSA, CAP-FDT, and other relevant regulatory bodies
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present data in an organized fashion
• Ability to detect chromatographic issues and suggest or implement corrective actions
