About the role
Responsibilities
- Test and audit production lines and finished goods
- Investigate customer rejects and conduct root cause analysis
- Perform multiple production line quality audits throughout the shift
- Create and distribute professional defect reports
- Inspect raw materials and reject products not meeting specifications
- Communicate product quality and status to other shifts
- Train operators on customer requirements
- Ensure testing equipment is in proper working condition
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure and use calipers
- Ability to read blueprints
- Proficiency with computers and technology
- Ability to understand technical concepts
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality Assurance background
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- Understanding of 5 Why process for troubleshooting
