QC Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform functional acceptance testing and inspections on in-process and finished goods according to approved procedures.
• Conduct independent reviews of Shop Floor Paperwork (SFP) to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to product release.
• Identify non-conforming materials and initiate the NCMR process in accordance with quality procedures.
• Accurately document all test results, inspections, and related quality records.
• Collect and maintain data for Statistical Process Control (SPC) monitoring and perform routine data trending.
• Serve as the final quality control checkpoint for finished products to ensure patient safety.
• Train inspectors on acceptance testing methods and newly implemented policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality function or a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations across multiple units of measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Previous experience within the medical device industry.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in science, math, business, or a related field.
• Prior experience with Instron testing (Series IX, Merlin, or Blue Hill).
• Experience using electronic quality systems or databases such as SAP.
