QC Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the Chemical Starting Material Lab team.
• Ensure timely, high-quality testing, evaluation, and release of starting materials in a GMP environment.
• Maintain responsibility for GMP-compliant workflows, documentation, and adherence to all relevant SOPs and guidelines.
• Manage team resources, capacity planning, and structured personnel development.
• Drive continuous improvement through process harmonization, standardization, digitalization, and Lean methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with QA, Production, Warehouse, and Supply Chain departments regarding material assessment.
• Lead or participate in departmental projects, including method introductions and inspection preparations.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related scientific/technical field.
• Multi-year experience working within a regulated GMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Proven leadership experience with a strong, values-oriented management style.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• High level of resilience, solution orientation, and ability to drive implementation.
