QC Operator

Responsibilities

• Verify audio/video content to identify defects or anomalies caused by hardware setups or operator error
• Compare digitized content against original carriers to ensure accuracy and exclude operational issues
• Utilize customer-specific QC tools and assisted software to identify and correct migration errors
• Identify the timing and frequency of technical problems to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Escalate critical issues to the Supervisor and follow company procedures for reporting detected problems
• Adhere strictly to Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) protocols

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working with audiovisual formats and related tools
• Deep understanding of audiovisual formats, codecs, and signal integrity
• Proficiency in media editing and specialized QC tools
• Basic knowledge of metadata handling and preservation formats
• Strong adherence to quality control protocols and checklists
• Ability to communicate issues clearly and work effectively within a cross-functional team
