QC Microbiology Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine environmental monitoring of clean rooms and facility clean utilities according to approved procedures.
• Perform sampling and testing of production environments during manufacturing processes.
• Execute daily and weekly assigned tasks within the Microbiology Laboratory.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, guidelines, and aseptic gowning protocols.
• Accurately complete production documentation, data verification checks, and data inputs.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for operating equipment and performing processing steps.

Requirements

• High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent credential.
• 0-2 years of experience in a cGMP environment (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to perform aseptic gowning and maintain meticulous compliance with gowning procedures.
• Ability to stand for up to 6 hours in a production suite.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push equipment requiring up to 15-20 lbs of force.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field.
