QC Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and electrochemical characterization of materials using various analytical techniques (e.g., pH, moisture, XRF, SEM, XRD) in accordance with SOPs.
• Conduct regular inspection and basic maintenance of laboratory utilities and analytical instruments.
• Input and maintain analysis data in designated systems with high accuracy.
• Receive incoming samples, prioritize tasks, and handle the preparation and shipment of customer samples.
• Inspect packaging materials for compliance with quality standards.
• Dispose of analyzed samples and related materials according to safety guidelines.
• Act as a first escalation point for abnormal data, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, to support 24/7 operations.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, glasses, masks, respirators, and hearing protection.
• Strong commitment to integrity, accountability, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing quality operations environment.
• Experience operating analytical instruments such as ICP-OES, XRF, SEM, PSD, or XRD.
• Background in chemical, battery, powder, or materials quality control.
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF quality standards and document control.
