QC Lab Technician I

Responsibilities

• Work with management to keep the lab running proficiently
• Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to upper management
• Oversee lab technicians to ensure maximum productivity, training, coaching, and delegating of assignments
• Manage the disposal of samples and uphold health and safety protocols
• Complete analysis of finished products from current co-packing facilities
• Conduct product testing including visual assessment, flavor & tasting, and physical measuring of Brix, acid, pH, color & CO2
• Accurately record test results onto excel spreadsheets

Requirements

• Ability to operate basic lab equipment including refractometer, pH meter, digital burette, and carboQC
• Computer operating skills and Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Basic math and calculator skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a beverage manufacturing laboratory
