QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections for civil, structural, and finishing works including formwork, reinforcement, concrete, tiling, and joinery
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and ITPs
• Conduct mock-up inspections and verify finishing quality, alignment, and aesthetic standards
• Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and review results against ASTM/BS standards
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs/RFIs) and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation and logs
• Identify non-conforming work, escalate issues, and coordinate corrective actions and NCR closures
• Liaise with consultants, client representatives, and site engineers to ensure seamless inspection processes

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or an equivalent field
• 7+ years of QA/QC experience specifically covering civil and finishing works
• Strong knowledge of civil and architectural construction standards
• Proven experience working with UAE consultants and local QA/QC processes
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and strong inspection reporting skills
