QC Inspector, E&I

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and surveillance of Electrical and Instrumentation works according to approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Inspect installation of cable trays, conduits, cables (LV/MV/Control/FO), lighting, earthing, panels, and field devices.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and vendor data.
• Ensure installation activities meet international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and BS.
• Witness and verify continuity, insulation resistance (IR), megger, HV/LV cable testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
• Witness FAT, SAT, calibration, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Review and raise Request for Inspection (RFI) and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain quality logs, including RFI, MIR, and calibration logs.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings, test dossiers, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience in Quality Control within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, Power Plant, or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and turnover packages.
• Willingness to work in remote locations, including offshore or desert environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional QA/QC certifications.
