QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect, audit, measure, and functionally test products, materials, parts, and subassemblies for damage, defects, or shortages
• Perform incoming inspections to ensure paperwork and parts conform to engineering and purchase order requirements
• Conduct in-process inspections of parts during the manufacturing cycle
• Execute pre-shipment inspections to ensure final product quality
• Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing
• Perform product and process audits on machined products, weldments, and assemblies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of hands-on machine shop inspection experience
• Strong knowledge of Quality standards including ISO, Gage Calibration, Metrology, and GD&T
• Proficiency using inspection equipment such as Surface Plates, Height Gages, Comparators, and hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings
• Ability to perform detailed reviews of documentation and certifications against requirements
