QC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures
• Evaluate and manage the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors
• Create and execute QA/QC plans and inspection test plans (ITPs)
• Conduct regular inspections of construction activities, materials, and equipment
• Perform quality control tests to verify adherence to project requirements
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system
• Prepare regular quality control reports for project management and stakeholders
• Identify and document non-conformities and implement corrective actions
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC mechanical and piping engineering within Power (CCGT) or EPC projects
• Proficiency in industry standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, and ISO
• Skilled in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques and result interpretation
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or Quality Auditor (CQA)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
• NDT method certifications
• Welding inspection certifications (e.g., AWS CWI)
• Experience with quality management software like Aconex, Procore, or Primavera
