QC Chemist III

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control release and stability testing on drug substance and drug product for product quality assays
• Execute assays including compendial methods, SEC, cIEF, CE-SDS, and CEX
• Contribute to method validation and method transfers
• Perform data review and verification of laboratory data for early-stage, late-stage, and commercial biologic programs
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and test methods within QC jurisdiction
• Support Quality Control functions and general lab management

Requirements

• BS degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent scientific discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR an MS degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), ProteinSimple Maurice, and/or Beckman PA800 plus CE
• Proficiency with electronic laboratory systems including LIMS, ELN, LES, and EMPOWER
• Ability to write standard operating procedures (SOPs), test methods, or protocols
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for a collaborative environment
