QC Biochemist Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Perform wet chemistry testing using HPLC, UV-Vis, and CE
• Manage sample receipt and glassware washing
• Document test results in electronic notebooks using ALCOA
• Support various QC labs as needed
• Coach, train, and develop group members regarding personal development and operational improvements
• Coordinate workflow and monitor daily activities to meet Turnaround Time (TAT)
• Prepare and review job plans, conduct performance reviews, and manage succession planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.) or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a laboratory setting
• At least 2 years of GMP industry leadership experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work night shifts (8pm to 6am) on a 4x10 schedule
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely
