QC Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical analyses for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
• Conduct method validation and optimize compendial methods for laboratory instrumentation
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, and ICP-MS
• Develop, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Investigate and document Out-of-Specification (OOS) results in accordance with regulatory expectations
• Support stability program activities, including sample testing and data analysis
• Manage laboratory inventory of reagents, standards, and consumables

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or Microbiology
• Proven experience in analytical method development and validation
• Hands-on expertise in HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, FTIR, or UV/Vis spectrophotometry
• Solid background in wet chemistry techniques, including sample preparation and titration
• Experience with instrument validation, qualification, and calibration
• Working knowledge of USP and AOAC analytical methods
• Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices, cGMP, and 21 CFR part 111
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a laboratory setting
