QC Analyst

Responsibilities

• Test pharmaceutical substances including raw materials and drug substances in a GMP environment
• Perform GC and HPLC analysis and other analytical techniques
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform regular calibrations
• Manage inventory and status of materials required for analysis
• Verify and review results generated by other analysts for compliance
• Ensure correct data entry to LIMS and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Write and maintain documentation such as SOPs, methods, and reports
• Lead laboratory investigations and deviations when required
• Maintain a safe working environment in a state of audit readiness

Requirements

• Science Degree in Chemistry or equivalent (Level 7 minimum)
• 2 years experience in a GMP laboratory
• Knowledge of analytical technologies including HPLC, GC, KF, IR, PSD, Xray, and Wet chemistry
• Understanding of Data Integrity principles
• Proficiency with lab computer systems such as LIMS and Trackwise
• Strong customer service mentality and ability to work in a team
