QC Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of raw materials, cleaning samples, bulk intermediate, finished products, and stability samples.
• Conduct analyses using various intermediate preparation techniques and analysis methods.
• Document all activities and maintain records in accordance with good documentation practices and data integrity guidelines.
• Maintain, care for, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
• Train junior analysts in laboratory techniques and analysis methods.
• Perform intermediate method transfers and provide detailed accounts of testing to investigators.
• Make scientific recommendations regarding QC procedures to management and technical writers.
• Support the implementation of new systems and continuous improvement efforts within the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• Two or more years of experience in an analytical laboratory position.
• Proficiency with analytical instruments including HPLC, FTIR, GPC, GC, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines within a regulated laboratory environment.
• Ability to interpret analytical procedures, calculations, and scientific principles.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm).
