QA/QC Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Monitor QA/QC work progress and report updates to the Project Manager
• Troubleshoot field issues and proactively identify solutions to minimize delays
• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans in accordance with company standards
• Conduct inspections and tests of electrical installations to verify compliance with NEC, drawings, and project specifications
• Document inspections, testing results, and corrective actions
• Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet quality and contract standards
• Review submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation for accuracy
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and inspectors to resolve quality issues
• Support commissioning and turnover documentation
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including non-conformance reports
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents

Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including supervisory roles
• Proven experience with QA/QC processes, testing, and inspections in electrical projects
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and relevant industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with construction documentation and project management software
• Ability to work in underground environments (MSHA training provided)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ)
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or utility-scale electrical installations
