QA/QC Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy, material quality assurance, and compliance across federal construction projects
• Oversee the full lifecycle of procured materials from vendor qualification to final acceptance
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with EC Quality Control Program and contract specifications
• Implement the Three-Phase Control Process and facilitate QC meetings
• Inspect and document receipt of materials to ensure compliance with contract documents
• Author quality documentation including reports, logs, RFIs, and corrective actions
• Manage procurement execution, including reviewing submittals and coordinating non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Review commodity Bills of Material (BOM) and manage purchase orders and change orders
• Expedite deliveries and track released material against budget and BOM
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, Buy American, and CUI requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain management, or related field
• Experience in procurement and supply chain management within construction or engineering projects
• Proficiency in Quality control and assurance processes
• Knowledge of federal contracting and compliance (FAR, DFARS)
• Experience managing vendor qualification and material inspections for government projects
• Understanding of purchase orders, change orders, and BOM management
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and document control platforms (Procore, SharePoint)
• Competency in Microsoft Office products
